See the program of the MDF Festival 2022
Concerts of Polish and foreign stars, an exhibition, a discussion forum and multimedia installations are just some of the events of the MDF Festival. On September 21-25, music, design, technologies, thought, and ideas will fill the white body of the Philharmonic in Szczecin for the fifth time. The program of the fifth edition of the MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM Festival is already known!

Search for harmony through art

The white building of the Philharmonic in Szczecin, so cleanly encouraging to give it new functions, forms and meanings, will again become a space for reflection through art. From September 21 to 25, for the fifth time, we will combine styles, mix genres, create from scratch and process what already exists. The theme of this year's MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM Festival is HARMONY, which is why we will be looking for it among the festival events together with the invited artists.

Meet the artists of the MDF Festival 2022

This year's festival will be filled with a harmony of sounds, images and creative thoughts. You can expect symphonic sounds, jazz, electronic, chamber, traditional and contemporary music, all as always with an attractive visual layer.

We have five days of excitement ahead of us. Among the stars invited this year is China Moses – a hypnotic singer with an extraordinary timbre, who will be heard on the Philharmonic stage in entirely new jazz and soul arrangements by Troy Miller, who will also conduct the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.

Electronic music fans will surely be pleased to hear that Max Cooper will come to Szczecin. This British DJ, music producer and visual artist will perform his latest project, "Unspoken Words", on the festival's third day. Since Cooper is a versatile artist, his performance will be a visual and musical feast, as always.

Fans of unusual musical combinations must not miss the concert opening this year's MDF Festival. Mickiewicz's Ballads and Romances was taken up by two musicians who move in different worlds daily – Jacek Hałas and Radzimir JIMEK Dębski. What will result from the collaboration between a traditional musician and a composer who writes contemporary music? We will find out in September at the opening of the festival.

MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM Festival is not only about unique concerts. This year, the spaces of the Philharmonic in Szczecin will host an audiovisual modular installation with AR, created by the duo of artists – Elwira Wojtunik and Popesz Csaba Lánga AKA ELEKTRO MOON VISION.

There is also an exhibition of photographs by Marcin Kydryński, an expert forum, during which we will look at the theme of this year's festival edition, i.e. HARMONY. The interns of the international project M.M.M. will invite us to a unique, created-from-scratch concert. Thanks to Tomasz Torres and the sounds of handpans, we will devote ourselves to meditation. There will also be a concert dedicated to the youngest, prepared by the reliable EduFilharmonia.

September 21-25 dates must be entered in the calendar now.
