Distance learning is a new challenge that both students and teachers are trying to cope with in a pandemic. Bearing in mind the enormous effort put into their work by the teachers, the Philharmonic in Szczecin has prepared ten school lessons slightly different than those known to us all.

„DoNuta in the topic “is a program that can be used as an alternative form of education. Music helps to concentrate and activates the memory areas in a child's brain. Each episode will feature live music, performed by artists from the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra of course.

School subjects and music

The first episode is entitled: "Note in the topic: nature". The topic of the lesson is the ecosystem and its functions. We will try to show how much the world of music and nature have in common. We will hear "Winter" from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons". This piece is closely related to the rhythm of nature and what surrounds us. It can serve as an inspiration to hear the nature, to commune with nature. It activates the imagination, encourages to search for the sounds in the natural environment.

The theme of the next episode will be history. We will touch not only the history of the development of music and instruments, but also the active building of history and caring for memory.

Music can accompany every type of education, every moment in which we learn and absorb new information. The series of new educational broadcasts is something that can be used as an inspiration not only for the teachers . Each episode will include a special corner for adults involved in educational processes – an inspiration full of ideas and ideas.
