Tickets for ILYO 2026 concerts now on sale

NEWS | 11-05-2026
The International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra returns to the stage with two symphonic concerts. The first will take place on 4 September at 7:00 PM in the Golden Hall of the Szczecin Philharmonic, followed by a second performance on 6 September at 6:00 PM at the concert hall of the Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR) in Katowice. Tickets for both events are now available.
The musicians of ILYO 2026 will present a programme featuring masterpieces of 19th- and 20th-century orchestral repertoire. The concerts will open with an overture by Grażyna Bacewicz, followed by Jean Sibelius’s Violin Concerto in D minor, Op. 47 – one of the most important and technically demanding works in the violin repertoire.

The soloist will be Zofia Anna Olesik – a laureate of over 30 national and international violin competitions. She is the winner of the Zdzisław Jahnke Competition in Poznań and the first announced participant of the 17th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition.

The evening will conclude with Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition in Maurice Ravel’s vivid orchestration – one of the most spectacular works in the symphonic canon.
Both concerts will be conducted by Maestro Przemysław Neumann, General and Artistic Director of the Szczecin Philharmonic.

More information about the programme can be found in the REPERTOIRE section.
