Young Music Lovers’ Academy | Allow us to introduce: the opera in personwłasnej osobie

Concert for children with caregivers (recommendet child age 5+)
Symphony Hall
Approximate duration of the concert: 60 minutes (concert without intermission)
A brand-new adventure awaits! We’ll take on the roles of opera directors and create our production inspired by Jan Brzechwa’s poem The Beetle. But to do this, we first need to examine the opera as a whole and understand its essential components. We’ll find out how an opera begins and ends, learn about the different types of voices involved, and explore the role played by the ever-familiar symphony orchestra.

Will our project succeed? Will the titular Beetle win the heart of his beloved Ladybug with a beautifully sung aria? Please become part of this ambitious project and join us for a musical crash course on opera in the Young Music Lovers’ Academy.
