#LetsBaRock: Orliński and Dębicz at the MDF Festival
Jakub Józef Orliński and Aleksander Dębicz will present their latest collaborative project, **#LetsBaRock**, on October 6th in the Golden Hall of the Szczecin Philharmonic. This performance, part of the MDF Festival, will feature their innovative fusion of baroque music with contemporary pop elements.
IMAGINE-the theme of this year's festival-is perfectly embodied by Orliński and Dębicz as they debut their new project in Szczecin. They have crafted modern arrangements of baroque compositions, infusing them with elements of pop. By bringing baroque music into contemporary contexts, they highlight its timelessness and demonstrate how imagination can transcend artistic boundaries.
#LetsBaRock features contemporary adaptations of baroque pieces, showcasing their universality and fresh sound. Orliński and Dębicz, supported by percussionist Marcin Ułanowski and bassist Wojciech Gumiński, have created "covers" of baroque works, complemented by three original compositions by Dębicz. This concert offers a unique opportunity to experience baroque music in an entirely new light!
The concert is part of the 2024 MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM Festival, is also a stop on the artists' tour.
