Erik Valderhaug - Sound Designer, Director - Lydkjelleren (Ålesund)
Erik comes from Ålesund in Møre og Romsdal. He started LYDKJELLEREN in 1991 and has since been very conscious of delivering quality at all levels. Today the company has its own rental and installation department and travels around the entire country to install sound systems, lighting systems, projectors and screens.
The customers range from private individuals to banks, cultural centres, schools and other municipal buildings. Regular customers include Chat Noir Theater in Oslo (LYDKJELLEREN is responsible for all sound and lighting technology in the house), Chateu Neuf theatre in Oslo via Taran AS which sets up most of the equipment .
Erik himself tours a lot as a sound designer and technician with artists such as WENCHE MYHRE and ANDERS ELJAS, FRODE ALNÆS, BETTAN, JØRN HOEL, STEINAR ALBRIGTSEN, BRAZZ BROTHERS, INGER LISE RYPDAL, ALEXANDER RYBAK, KAARE CONRADI, ANITA SKORGAN, MARIAN AAS HANSSEN, RUNE LARSEN, MARIA HAUKÅS MITTET, TOR ENDRESEN and more.
