Rafał Grozdew
Tenor, pedagogue, doctor of musical sciences. Lecturer at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. The artist performed abroad, among others in Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, Germany and Denmark. In Poland, he gave concerts, among others at: the Baltic Opera, National Theater, Polish Theater and Studio S1, as well as at the Philharmonic Halls in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Szczecin, Poznań, Lublin, Kielce and Białystok. Concerts with his solo participation were broadcast on Polish National Television – TVP.
Rafał Grozdew always looks for new musical solutions by combining classical and ethnic sounds. The album "Etnofonie Kurpiowskie" with his participation was nominated to the "Koryfeusz Muzyki Polskiej" award. He is fascinated by early and baroque music and specializes in both. He cooperates with various ensembles: Ars Nova, Sabionetta, Jericho, Orkiestra Wielkich Drębów. His work also includes performances of contemporary works, which are written for him by such composers as Krzesimir Dębski and Michał Lorenc. He was a juror of vocal competitions, including the International Giulio Perotti Vocal Competition in Ueckermünde.
