Jolanta Starzak
Jolanta Starzak, MSc. is an architect and town planner (member of the Greater Poland District Chamber of Architects and the Chamber of Architects in the Netherlands), co-founder of the Atelier Starzak Strebicki architectural studio, lecturer and coordinator of Design – School of Form at the Design Faculty at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw.
After completing her studies and working for many years for design studios in the Netherlands, Jolanta Starzak, together with Dawid Strębicki, opened the design studio – Atelier Starzak Strebicki in 2012, which implements architectural, urban and research projects in Belgium, Germany and Poland. The Atelier Starzak Strebicki is fascinated by the diverse scale of design activities: from interiors and single-family houses, through public buildings, to city strategies, masterplans and research. Temporary architecture and experiments in urban tissue are also intriguing for them, especially as research tools. The Atelier Starzak Strebicki was also invited to participate in the 15th International Architecture Biennale in Venice, where one of their projects became a part of the Belgian pavilion.
