Miłosz Bembinow
Miłosz Bembinow is a composer, conductor, and music educator born in 1978 in Warsaw, Poland. He studied composition under Prof. Stanisław Moryto and conducting under Prof. Antoni Wit at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he works as an assistant professor. Bembinow has received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Bavarian Government Scholarship in 2003 for a residency at the International Art Center "Villa Concordia" and the "Young Poland" Scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture in 2004.
Bembinow's creative output encompasses chamber, orchestral, oratorio works and music for entertainment and film. His compositions have been performed in various European countries, North and South America, and Asia. Over the past ten years, his music has been performed nearly 300 times, featured on numerous radio and television broadcasts, and released over 30 albums. Several of his works have received the prestigious Fryderyk Award from the Polish Phonographic Industry, including categories such as Contemporary Music and Choral and Oratorio Music. The CD&DVD album "Łukaszewski i Bembinow – kolędy i pastorałki" reached gold and platinum in 2011 and gold in 2013.

Bembinow's compositions have been interpreted by renowned artists such as Jerzy Maksymiuk, Wiesław Ochman, Agnieszka Duczmal, Michał Dworzyński, Tomasz Strahl, Małgorzata Pańko, Paweł Gusnar, as well as ensembles like The King's Singers, Kwartet Dafô, Polish Radio Orchestra, Polish National Opera Chorus, and Schola Cantorum Gedanensis.

As a conductor, Bembinow has collaborated with numerous symphony orchestras and premiered many works by contemporary Polish composers. Since 2000, he has been the musical director of the Forum Ensemble Chamber Orchestra, which he co-founded. He has also conducted operettas, such as Franz Lehár's "The Land of Smiles" in the 2004/2005 season, and musicals like Leonard Bernstein's "West Side Story" at the Capitol Musical Theatre in Wrocław during the 2005/2006 season.

Miłosz Bembinow is closely involved in organizing musical events and initiatives. He is one of the main initiators of the Uczniowskie Forum Muzyczne (Student Music Forum) festival and the nationwide Uczniowskie Forum Muzyczne Composition Competition (the 17th edition of the festival and the 14th edition of the competition took place in 2013). From 2003 to 2007, he served as the President of the Polish Youth Music Association Jeunesses Musicales. From 2008 to 2009, he was the Vice-Director of the international project Keimyung-Chopin Academy of Music in Daegu, South Korea. Until 2011, he was the President of the Sphere of Harmony Artistic Initiatives Foundation, which he co-founded in 2002. Currently, he is a delegate of the Polish Composers' Union to the European Composer and Songwriter Alliance and the Chair of the Section of Authors of Serious Music Works at the Association of Authors ZAiKS.
