Polish singer, instrumentalist, music producer, Jerzy Grunwald (who also appears under the pseudonym George & G) began his musical career as a teenager in the mid-1960s. In 1967 he joined the group No To Co, and five years later he founded his own ensemble – En Face. In the 1970s, he often gave concerts abroad: in Great Britain, Belgium, and Sweden, eventually reaching the United States, where he stayed for the next nine years. Then he moved to Sweden, where he lives to this day. He collaborated with Janusz Hryniewicz, with whom he performed in the formations of Guitar Brothers and Grunwald & Hilton.
Jerzy Grunwald's discography and achievements constitute a cross-section of really diverse genres and musical styles. The artist began as a representative of the Polish skiff scene (music combining the influences of folk, jazz and blues), and then bigbit. In the 1980s, he turned to pop and rock music more and more to move to the style of soft rock and smooth jazz.
